3-part wall-hanging: foyer of a residence in Burnaby, BC
This commission was for a client who loved gardening and textile art. The piece was commissioned to occupy an empty space above a stairwell in the main foyer of the home. The foyer itself is not a large space, so the piece was designed to engage and arrest the eye of the viewer, but at the same time not overpower the space or stop the path of light from the front to the back of the foyer - hence, the use of transparent fabrics and clear acrylic hanging rod.
